Meet Our Preschool Teachers and Assistants
We carefully select our preschool teachers and assistants to help ensure a solid academic environment that is fun, loving, and models Christan values.
Preschool Teachers
All of our preschool teachers meet these qualifications.

Bettina Da Costa, CDA
Lead Teacher
Mrs. Da Costa teaches kindergarten. She taught at King of Kings Preschool from 2000 to 2006 and returned in the fall of 2015. She has a Child Development Associate’s degree.
Mrs. Da Costa is married, the mother of two grown children, and the proud grandmother of two grandchildren.
Rebekka Sollars, MS, BS
Preschool and Kindergarten Director and Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Sollars has a Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Mrs. Sollars was a preschool assistant director for five years before joining King of Kings preschool in 2019. She has an extensive background in working with children who have special needs.
Mrs. Sollars is married and the mother of two wonderful step-children.
Katie Hennig
Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Hennig teaches preschool for our 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds. She taught at King of Kings Preschool from 2014 to 2017 and returned to our team the summer of 2023 after working for a 24-hour daycare from 2017 to 2023.
Mrs. Hennig is married and enjoys going out for adventures with her husband.
Music Teacher
Music is taught monthly in all our preschool and kindergarten classes.
Suzy Hennig
Music Teacher
Mrs. Hennig teaches our preschool and kindergarten music classes. She is also the Family Life Director at King of Kings Lutheran Church and a church Chapel leader.
Mrs. Hennig is married and the mother of two sons.
Teacher Assistants
Our teacher assistants assist teachers with classroom activities and demonstrate a Christian example of nurturing the children. All of our preschool teacher assistants meet these qualifications.

Josephine Chan
Teaching Assistant
Mrs. Chan joined King of Kings preschool in 2008. Before that, Mrs. Chan worked with the Head Start program in Seattle, Washington. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and is fluent in Cantonese, and has experience with the Mandarin language.
Mrs. Chan is married and the mother of a daughter.
